About Us
Ashlyn is a painter and creative director whose work exists at the intersection of painting and film. Her practice is centered on exploring duality through visual storytelling.
Working primarily in acrylic and mixed media, she creates layered paintings that balance contrast—life and death, beauty and decay, the conscious and subconscious. Each work is built around symbolic tension, inviting viewers to interpret meaning from multiple perspectives.
Alongside her paintings, our team directs short films that extend the visual world into motion. These works are emotional, atmospheric, and surreal—blending intensity with dreamlike imagery to mirror the themes found in her paintings.
Her practice also extends into wearable art, reflective artifacts, and printed works, where original pieces are translated into clothing and objects designed for reflection and everyday connection.
Across all mediums, we build a cohesive visual language rooted in contrast, emotion, and perspective.
Artist Statement
My work is rooted in duality.
I am drawn to the space where opposites meet—life and death, beauty and decay, the conscious and the unconscious. These are not separate forces to me, but intertwined states of the same existence.
Through painting and film, I explore these tensions as emotional and symbolic experiences. My paintings hold still moments of contrast, built through layers that invite shifting interpretation. My films move through these same ideas in motion—intense, atmospheric, and emotionally charged—where feeling often speaks louder than narrative.
At the center of my practice is the idea that perspective changes everything. I want the viewer to step outside of themselves, even briefly, and see existence from a wider lens—one where contradiction is not conflict, but structure.
My work is influenced by nature, mysticism, folklore, and the psychology of human connection. I am interested in transformation—what changes form, what dissolves, and what remains beneath it all.
This practice is an attempt to translate that invisible balance into something visible.
